Would you rather win...

If you had a competition for 1 x £50 Amazon voucher, or the chance to win 1 of 2 £25 Amazon vouchers,
Are you more like to enter on or the other?
Or do both seem just as appealing?

Seems obvious, unless I'm missing something.
You would have twice as much chance of winning if there were 2 £25 prizes instead of just 1 at £50.0 -
I'd rather have 1 chance to win £50 than 2 chances to win £25. Although, that's probably a bad example to use because I think most people would just go for the £50 since £25 is a bit meh.
If it was 1 entry for £1000 or 4 entries for £250, then people will probably think a bit harder since it's a more meaningful amount to "gamble" (although I'd still just go for the £1000).
I posted a poll similar to this before ... In regards to the C2W's and if you should concentrate on a couple of competitions or carpet bomb everything ... so would you rather have 100 entries into 1 competition or 1 entry into 100 competitions, the concencus was that we'd rather have 1 entry into 100 competitions.0 -
Ideally I wouldn't want any prize of less than £2,000 to be split0

I think this is worded wrongly, I am presuming that the OP means would you rather enter a comp that had one prize of £50, or two prizes of £25, meaning that you had double the chance of winning "a" prize in the second one. Personally I would enter both! But obviously, the more chances of winning, the better.0

2x £25.
Not only do you get twice the chance to win baked in, but it'll probably attract fewer entries as some people have a higher threshold for entry.0
