Has Bankruptcy Improved Your Sex Life?

Thank you for reading this Thread!:D

It's not quite as daft a subject as might be imagined by those of a more "narrow minded persuasion".;)

After spending many years trying to resolve some insurmountable debt problems I was amazed at the feeling of absolute relief when some misguided "bowel dweller" of a creditor petitioned for our bankruptcy.

The feeling was almost other worldly; we made love on the car we had to sell and used the Bankruptcy Order to clean the windscren; we trashed the house that would be repossessed with wild parties and spent every last penny we earned on reliving the time we'd lost.:kisses2:

Things have quietened down to some extent, and not everything has been as good or as bad as we'd expected, but I really do extend my most heartfelt thanks to that God fearing creditor who so mistakenly mistook intimidation for liberation.:A :A

Bankruptcy does have nasty implications for some people but for most it's a liberating force for good; hope all fellow bankrupts enjoy the same benefits that we have.:D :D

Regards

Richard

  • Yes i definately agree too Richard. Once the debts had disappeared i was so relieved and it was like having a complete fresh start. I went back to being 18 again!
  • Improved my sex life? well i did stock up heavily on batteries pre BR, so yes i suppose it has.i have more time to 'follow my hobby' (not sat staring at a huge pile of letters etc) and i have more energy (not running around like a blue bottomed fly, trying to work all hours god sends to pay my debts)
The only problem has been my card is no longer accepted at ann summers, but otherwise things are ok, oh and i haven't got a car anymore, to do it in
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

Now instead of staying awake until 4am freting about how to pay everyone I sleep like a baby.I wake fresh and alert most mornings much to OH delight;)
I no longer take my HAPPY pills for stress:j I am able to grab my best beloved in a warm embrace instead of wishing to scream at him for no other reason than hes breathing:o
I even have time for a hobby that is making me more supple and confident in my body image :j so now Im willing to wear all those cheeky little numbers OH has given me over the years and enjoy them to the full;)

The OR did question my huge spend in Superdrug before BR, but i just said i'd had head lice, flu, thrush, malaria, indegestion, insommnia, incontinence and 'dryness' problems due to the stress of going BR and he accepted this:o

I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
