hi
Not sure if anyone can help - i have tried a search for this information but cannot find a definative answer - How long should you keep papers such as bills and bank statments?
I understand that payslips should be kept for a number of years but I seem to have dozens WFTC papers for example.
Many thanks

Bank statements, dividend certificates, payslips and any other significant finanacial dealings etc. should be kept, really, for at least 6 years (but OK to shred after 7) just in case you're inspected by the taxman.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
