Newcastle BS application

Hi, looking for advice or if anyone has been in same type Of scenario.

Recently applied for 95% mortgage with my other half and started a new job last week. Mortgage broker aware of new job at the start of the application and Newcastle wanted every last document known to man from them regarding my contract etc.

Mortgage was meant to written up today however they have spoke to HR at my work and I have a 3 month probation period which I knew nothing about and baring in mind this is a better paid job but I am doing similar type of work. They tell me its been passed to their insurence company to see if i pose a risk lending wise.

Hoping someone can help with some info
