Retracted payrise

We had a change of circumstances at work and due to the change I was told there would be a pay increase by senior partner of business

Now told by another member of management I shouldn’t have been told this and is now retracted

Conflicting results in search engines

Advice please !

    There's no entitlement to an increase, beyond minimum wage - unless your contract specifies otherwise
