Inexpensive bags to contain smell?

Hello!

I want to put takeaway containers in small bags and seal them so that they don't smell and not having to go outside and throw them to the bin. At the same time, I don't want to waste a 50L bag for a couple containers.

Any product for this?

    Two options.
    1. Buy a smaller bag and tie a knot in it.
    2. Use the bin. Seems like a lot of faffing around just to avoid stepping outside.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

They need washing out before you put them in the recycling anyway so why are you trying to mask the smell? Put takeaway on a plate, throw the containers into a sink of soapy water, eat takeaway, wash up tubs, put them in the recycling.... simple.

    Don't have takeaways, problem solved!;)

If your worried about how many bin liners you're using, you're probably having too many.

Once a week, twice, three times??

They don't go to recycle as they cannot be cleaned. I just want to put some smelly leftovers stuff in a small bag (size of a large plate) and seal it.

To keep in a smell you will need zip seal bags. Look on Lakeland's web pages.

Mine do but still, just wash them before putting them in the bin !

Not really an issue and why would you want to buy even more plastic to store the containers in?? You are trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist and not helping the planet at the same time.

    1 Eat takeaway
    2 Wash containers
    3 Throw away
