Survey didnt find obvious fault-now bought what can I do?

    So there was an inspection and advice given expenditure would be required in the short term. Enough info to negotiate accordingly.

    My first step would be to complain to the surveyor in writing. If they fob me off I will get some quotes for how much the repair will cost, then make a decision if it's worth my time and effort to chase the surveyor or just pay to get it fixed and move on, taking 5min to drop a poor review of the surveyor if they have online presence.
