Standard Life shares claim

Hi, I had a Standard Life endowment policy from 1993 to 2009. When the demutialised in 2006 I never received any notification about claiming shares or cash bonuses. I moved house in 2005, so possibility letters went to old address. I cashed in the plan in 2009, providing my new address and was not notified then either. Only just discovered this and that claims closed in 2016. Any advice on how to make a claim now, or is this a lost cause?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I would imagine that you would have needed to be a 'with-profits' policyholder to receive shares.
Perhaps someone else on the Forum can tell us if this was the case.0 -
Thanks for that. Phoned and it appears I should have been due shares or cash equivalent. I've logged a complaint with them and just wait and see what happens now.0
