Payday Treat Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter of the prize draw is Nationwide Building Society, Nationwide House, Pipers Way, Swindon, SN38 1NW (“the Promoter”).
2. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, with the exception of employees, contractors and temporary workers of the Nationwide Group, and their immediate family members.
3. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
4. To enter this prize draw, entrants must go on to the Nationwide Facebook page and submit a response to the question displayed on the Nationwide Facebook Page by commenting beneath the relevant post with your tip for a budget treat following payday.
5. Only one entry per person is permitted.
6. 7. The opening date for entries is 8.00 am on 15th October 2019. The closing date is midnight 23rd October 2019. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.
9. One winner will be chosen from all valid entries by random draw, performed by a computer process, on 24th October 2019.
10. The winner will receive a cheque for £250 to be posted to their home address.
11. The winner will be notified via Facebook on 24th October 2019 and must provide a postal address and email address via Facebook direct message (DM) to claim their prize. The Promoter will make two attempts (using the information provided via Facebook DM) to contact the winner and if the winner does not respond to the Promoter within 14 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
12. The eligible winner will receive the prize within 30 days of providing their contact details.
13. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
15. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
16. Should a member of the public require confirmation of the winner in writing they can write to Social Media Team, Nationwide House, C1, Nationwide Building Society, Pipers Way, Swindon, SN38 1NW. We will respond to these requests from the 7th November 2019 and provide the winner’s first name and region, which will be taken from their Facebook DM.
17. In the event you are selected as a winner, you agree to your first name and region being published on the Nationwide Facebook page.
18. Personal data supplied in the Facebook DM during the course of this promotion will be kept and used to arrange successful fulfilment and delivery of the prize.
19. By entering this prize draw all entrants consent to Nationwide featuring their submitted responses in any future promotional material which Nationwide chooses to carry out in connection with this prize draw.
