Hi,
This may be better for the mortgage board but i wanted advice from the OP community :-)
I am currently with the Leeds and bascilly they are pretty rubbish wirh overpayments.
they dont recalculate anything unless I repay over £1000 in one go and there is no online access.
Who are the best providers for overpaying wuth regards to simplicity, flexiblility and online access?
Thanks

HSBC by a country mile, easy to make OPs and you save interest instantly. Followed by Santander and Barclays. So the larger banks really. And they have the most competitive fee free rates so overall I find it best to stick to them.0

Barclays is good, you can send via BACS from your current account and it shows up instantly on your mortgage account.0
-
Halifax is easy. You can call them, or send a bank transfer from any current account.0

Nationwide are easy to work with. Online payments to the mortgage of any size, no minimum limit. Also, for my mortgage, I can OP 10% of the original loan. I took it out 4 years ago @ £243,750 and have remortgaged with them recently but still have the £24,375 limit for each year. `Mortgage 1 - 01/2/2015 - £243,750 ; Mortgage 01/11/2024 - £132,576.55
Mortgage 2 - 2019 - £76,600 ; Mortgage 01/10/2024 - £47,763.29
MFit-T5 - reduce to £140,000 MFiT-T6 - reduce to £110,000
01/10/2024 Daily Interest - M1 = £18.27 (!!); M2 = £7.41
Debt at highest point in 24 -£21,344
Debt 1st November 24 - £16,192.18 24% paid. Focusing on this in earnest!!!0 -
