Am I a first time buyer?

Hello, my husband and I were declared bankrupt around 10 years ago. We lost our home in this process. We are now looking to buy again but not sure if we would be looked at a first time buyers? I would assume not as we have owned a home before however when searching online most options given are ‘first time buyer’, ‘remortgage’, or ‘buy to let’. Should I be looking for a lender that has the option of just ‘home purchase’?
Many thanks

No, you are not, as you have been on deeds to a property presumably and had a mortgage.0

If you are talking about stamp duty then no.
However some lenders have a wider definition of 1st time buyer for lending purposes.0 -
See a broker. We were classed as first time buyers by Nationwide, even though we previously owned a property 7 years ago.0
