    I don't know if it's available to non NatWest customers or if every branch has them but my local NatWest branch has a coin deposit machine which is free to use.

    Thanks so very many thanks for your help, gettingtheresometime, though I'm sure you're right in that it's for customers use only. Hubby & I also have a NW account and have used the deposit machine once and that went straight into our account.
    However, from what some SPC members have said over the last couple of years, I think most banks now provide this service.

    My first year of SPC and it has been amazing - thank you for the support and encouragement..

    I loved the excitement of emptying my jar and delighted with the outcome - Oil ordered, just in time for drop in temperatures :-)
