Hi, I was hoping to get some advice from you clever OS experts.
I am making my own stuffing first time for Christmas this year, I think I will go for this recipe:
http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/3170/chestnut-bacon-and-cranberry-stuffing.jsp
I would like to prepare in advance to save time on Christmas Eve, does anyone know if I could make up the raw stuffing and freeze for a few weeks ready for defrosting overnight and stuffing the bird on the big day?
I looked in the indexed threads but couldn't find anything

I make my stuffing on Christmas day, but always have too much. I freeze the raw leftovers it in a plastic box, then cook it in a baking dish, and we have it with baked potato and vegetables. Easy meal after Christmas.
