I did a little bit of googling about cleaning cobwebs the other day, and was absolutely thrilled to find the suggestion that if you rub one of those fluffy dusters with a plastic bag you 'charge' it and it picks them up better, and THEN when you've made it all mucky, you rub it with the plastic bag again and all the muck drops off fairly easily. Which actually seems to work.
However I do prefer to vacuum the cobwebs up, and to dust that way, because otherwise you end up with dust flying around the room and aggravating DH's asthma.
So I'm considering a lightweight hand-held vacuum cleaner, anyone got any suggestions?
I have a G-Tech rechargeable, but it's the old one which doesn't have any attachments and is a pain to empty. I see they do a Stick and Handheld versions, so tempted ... but not cheap.
I also have a Dyson upright, which has the attachments I need, but it's heavy to move around and heavy to hold above my head, but great for floors.

The duster thing is static electricity.
We also prefer to hoover up rather than dust. We bought a little Shark cordless stick (on offer at Currys) recently - so far so good, but very noisy.
Why am I in this handcart and where are we going ?0
