Class 2 National Insurance Payment?

I paid Class 2 National Insurance Contributions via direct debit because it seemed there isn't an option for payment via debit card as it mentioned 'Corporate credit card or debit card' on the list of payment options.
However, the payment hasn't been sent. I'm sure it said that the payment would be made in September.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had issue with paying via direct debit.

I think it actually says "By debit or corporate credit card online" meaning that you can pay using a personal debit card but not a personal credit card or by a corporate credit card. Don't know about the direct debit payments.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
