Tinned Duck gizzards

I bought some tins of these in France as they are a delicacy, but I have no idea how to cook them. I opened a tin yesterday and they are delicious and I think packed in duck fat. Anyone used these and any recipes, preferably autumn ones. I know the word gizzard sounds revolting, but trust me they are not:D

The duck confit I buy in France is about £8.50 a tin That's 4 or 5 duck legs. Sadly in Waitrose it's more like £12!:eek:

I'd anticipate the gesiers will be cheaper. I need to go to France ASAP.

ETA : I just checked and the gesiers are only £3.50!
