One idea for you Paul, why not put what you might otherwise have been tempted to 'spend' unwisely in to the pot - out of reach! Then turn to some great memories of wonderful times gone by. I wish you sincere best wishes in kicking your habit. We have some other guys on here - "sparky" and "stunty", though don't let them pass on any madness or shocking habits!

Michelle - good luck with cashing in that mountain of coins.

Aeshna - you won't need to have that much cash to spare, just what's left over after shopping or any street finds! A great idea with your Ds's tin!

A word to NewlyFrugalMumof3. So long as you know where to find the "Grocery Challenge", go there and pop a post on asking about the next challenge. Failing that, see who started it on the first page and send a PM asking if they know. Same with the "NSDays" as I doubt any of us here know. Bad luck with the milk ...less water when you try again! :A Don't worry about your coffee jar looking a tad naff, it'll soon be decorated with pretty silver and gold (oh alright, bronze then) coins! :j

Oh dear poor Little Chicken ...why you want to go getting such a nasty cold for? Now Puzzled and I would have stood to one side to let it go by ...not you though! It has to be bad to stop you from browsing on line! Sorry LC, I'm being mean, but I really do hope you can soon shift it, keep warm tomorrow (today) and at the weekend!!! Puzzled, if you're serious then I hope things soon improve for you.

Hiya Stunty!!! I think it was oopalah that was guessing you were on nights earlier in the week. I'd wondered where you'd got to, but soon realised when she said that. Good to see you back though and goes to show you're missed when folk ask about you. I think sparky's off tmorrow, I hope they have a lovely time. Thanks Sue, i am going for being overly positive today - had a stern chat with myself infront of the mirror and told myself to get on with it,

as the cheesy american saying goes "turn that frown upside down" lol

i think i might be able to have some change for my pot later, a friend owes me £3 that will be in shiney change (and as she knows my obsession with £2 coins is likely to give me one especially for my pot)
