thanks sparky.I'm quite pleased with myself so far.I measured up properly ( batons included) i've bought the correct screws and rawl plugs too so I'm all set to go.Will prob do it at weekend when kids disappear and I don't have to watch for fingers or my language lol.

She's ok, she works in a shop and this idiot came in yesterday and had a go at her (with said iron bar), so i wnet in today and waited for him (he's a regular) and threatened him a little. (Well, ok a lot). Grrrr.

She didnt tell me last night as she didnt want me to go nuts (she's very streetwise and is totally ok with it), but she told me today. And yes, I went nuts.
