LMM, I have a nephew Tom who's shot up the last 6 months and is now 6'1" at 16 years old! lol (bit like me!), i love tormenting him, it's like an Olympic sport. Yeah still in shock and a bit teary, think if i see him i will turn into a wreck. My OH's mum works for the benefits office so she is going round to see him next week to help him get all he can and my brother whos a FA is going to see if he can help him too but apparantly its pretty bad so don't think he has that long
Wish there was some way i could help, was thinking bout doing race for life for him but not sure if they would want that?

Well, doing the Race for Life might help you cause you'll feel as if you're doing something useful. (been there done that.... sadly) But I dont see how it would offend him? Have they contacted agenies like Bacup or Cancer Link? They're pretty good to help with info and assistance. Will know more next week as he is going back to hospital to start chemo to try and give him some more time, hope it doesn't make him too ill but i expect it will.

Try the McMillan nurses too. They've very good.
