  • My friend & DH know I am doing this.

Yesterday got to work & friend said to me "have you got 2 £1 coins?" So I say yes & she gives me a £2 coin!

My DH did the same when he got home.

I don;t know if this is cheating but I have 2 nintendo DS to pay for from this sealed pot so every penny (or £2 coin!) counts! :D

    Evening everyone,
Hectic week at work, covering for a colleague who's mum is losing a battle with cancer, very sad, so not been able to get online, just on my way home now, just wanted to say hi to you all. Take care & be good molly & mumzy, I like the medals, you must have earned them for keeping us all in check when we've had moments of weakness.
Will try to get back online tomorrow.

Sad news indeed about your colleague's mum sparky. Hi Mollymop & Lisa: I'm chuffed to bits today as I've been able to put a fiver in, the largest amount put in since I started. All this saving's make me a dab hand at pinching a 50p or pound from hubby's little, loose change pot - it's ok, after all it's going in my big loose change pot which has a heck of an appetite! All the best with gathering bits tomorrow!
