Just popping in to say Hi as off out tonight to spend money i shouldn't really be spending!

Sitting here deciding whether i get 1 taxi to my mates for £5 or 2 buses for free using the free bus pass i got in the post this week to encourage me to use our towns buses (which i already do!) but i have been standing on my feet all day at charity shop and thinking about being lazy.....

BUT if i do that it will be a £10 spend on taxis today as will have to get one home tonight!
Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month

Well, i think i might have got hubby trained finally

He had 3p left over from last nights drinking and he asked if i wanted it for my pot - normally this would be carried around until he had acumulated enough change for another pint (normally 5 -7 days) but no - he willingly gave it up (wouldnt give me the pound coins thou - im still working on the big coins)
  • Yes of course I am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait until December. Are we all going online for a grand opening.
Perhaps you should count us down....

Look how many people have followed your lead.
    :T

Just read about the plastic bag debate on the March Grocery Challenge.
Its great how people are now starting to think more....
My great OB is well trained and is the first to grab the reusable ones so we just use previous plastic bags for bin bags.

    Hello everyone,

I have managed to pop about £4.50 in the pot today. Would've been a bit more but I have had to hunt out a launderette (16 miles away) and spend £9 on 3 machines. My WM has decided to be very temperamental just lately and only spins when it wants too. Last night I tried for nearly 4 hours to wash one load and in the end it came out smelling vile....so took a LOAD to the laundrette. Now dilemma time.....do I get my WM repaired (only had it 2 years but it hasn't been that good) or buy another????????
    £2 savers club. No.90. Aim £500.
