    Hi
    We've just made our sealed pot. Decided on an old ice cream tub. We hope to have saved £150 by Dec 2009.
    OB seemed interested and chucked some coins in too.
    What do people put in their updates?

    Hi Buffy
    In Summer 2009 we hope to travel up Central America, from Panama, through Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras to Guatemala. We go on a big trip every two years and its our one big extravengence even though we rough it! Last year we went to New Zealand and before that Nambia/Botswana.

    So we hope to save quite a bit of the money-through the Grocery Challenge (hopefully £1300 by Dec) and £150 from the Sealed Pot challenge-that would go a long way!!! Also hope to raise a bit by selling on Ebay.

    Thanks for the interest. We've all got to have our dreams.... What are yours?

    Hi, SFT. we put any of our day by day goings on hear + any coins we put in our pots. where are you guys planing to travel to?

    Wow, that is brilliant. I bet that is a big motivator in the Money saving business!

    I don't know about my dreams, I would like to own a house - rent it out, I have a vague ideas about travelling too, I want to go to Canada, New Zealand. Today right now I would settle for no debt and a nice boyfriend! I am giving myself two years to get out of debt and then its a what happens next moment.

    I do need to change my job tho.

    Welcome SFT, i just post on here daily, a few of us hard core sealed pot savers do (lol), if you're feeling brace have a read of the insanity from page 1 onwards........... paper mache pigs, drunken antics and general misbehaving. lol. It's great here.

    SFT- i take my hat of to to you guys. i realy want to travel like you do but dont know how to go about it. i have a DS who is going to college this year and i have got a place at uni, but am thinking of giving it for a full time job
