lol, doesnt it just? Membership comes with the flat. The flat is £100 a month cheaper than where i am now! I'm waiting for it to all go wrong.....

    Morning Stunty,
When you get tired of hobnobbing in the harbour club, try the little pub across the road from the traffic lights, it used to be a dockers pub & my old Dad used to spend (literally) a lot of time in there. You'll find some characters in there to amuse & entertain (salt of the earth). The pub's been done up now and I think they do a good Sunday lunch. The pub's named after the dock you'll be living at (if my geography's right to your location). Honestly though, hope you settle in quickly and have good neighbours, if you've got them then everything else is spot on. Good luck with the move matey
 Here's that pint back lol

    Good morning to everyone,
Hope you're al well. I've been trying out a no spend month and doing very well, so far, at the end of the month I'm going to work out how much I would have spent and put the total into my "Pot". From my calcs so far it should be around £30, so a nice little jump for my end of year total. Have a good day everyone and keep saving the pennies, keep looking down at the floor for the coins the kiddies don't want, anyone seeing me must think I look like the mobile phone advert (text your head off), but I'm actually looking for coins (sad I know) but hey we've all got our vices! lol

Well done on the no spending Sparky!!

Hope the Harbour club was as swish as it sounds (and that you didnt have a hang over Unknown)

I managed to pop a nice and shiney £2 coin in today and had a no spend day so looking good so far!

    Hi all!
I haven't posted on this thread for ages as I'm a Switch-o-holic and never have any cash, but DH has been adding the odd copper here and there, and I had a massive handbag sort-out last night. The result is that my little digital-money-counting jar now tells me that I've got exactly £30 in it! (It was £29-odds, but plundered his wallet to make it up!). Before this challenge, I didn't bother with change at all, so cheers guys!
