I started this challenge with £1.62 in the jar (I got one with a digital display in the lid that counts how much is in it!). I'm absolutely ashamed to say that the total is now £1.82 - I just never use cash!

Think I might be headed for the worst failure of all time! Oh well, never mind. I might draw a tenner out the bank and change it, just to make myself feel better!!!

    Thanks

My friend actually bought it for me in TK Maxx - they were £7.99 in there, and they had them in Makro as well for a similar price before Christmas. It's identical to ebay item number 330193202009, but I'd certainly not pay that much for one! If I see any I'll let you know.

  • yeah, that sounds right, did you get the £25 back off the A+L too??? thats what i was offered apparently..... i was a bit floored they gave me a £650 overdraft. I don't want it!!!!

no overdraft with them, I specifically said no. Look at my sig just got rid of 2, lol! No £25 either, didn't see that offer, damn!

When I open my tin I am going to use it for christmas.

Mind you from my pay on 18th & each month thereafter I intend to buy £10 each of Waitrose/Debenhams/M&S/Woolworths vouchers. So I should have (hopefully) saved quite a bit for christmas 2008!
