Disaster on the savings-front so far:eek: . Resisiting going out spending anything means there's no loose change gone in the pot for about a week. Must do better in 2008 or the few lonely coins already in there will still be rattling around sadly when it comes to opening it up:rolleyes:
One major result though:j . Was hoovering the car out this afternoon and heard something rattling in the suction pipe. When I emptied the bag (hoping to find a coin or two  ) it was an ear ring that I'd lost weeks ago. They're only cheapies but my favourite pair so I was well-chuffed. I don't know how I missed it until now, the car had a really good fingertip search the day I lost it:o
Enjoy your DFW festivities everyone.

Hi everyone,
I'm a longtime lurker who really needs to save some money, so if it's not too late, I'd love to join the challenge! My aim is £500, which should pay for Christmas next year!

Please may I join in as well? I will aim for £1 per day starting from tomorrow. I'm also doing the "Live on £4k(or £5k) in 2008 challenge. Thanks (must go and find a suitable container!)0
