  • I hope you folks don't mind my joining in, but I'll be twisting the way I'll do it slightly to help me out.

See, I have to admit I'm awfull at having money in jars and containers. I've loads of them aound the place but the temptation is always there to dip in if I find myself having too much of a bad week. I always add the coppers and 5p's to my various containers from my purse as soon as I get home each day, as soon as I'm through the door I know that needs done. But to keep myself from dipping in, I'll take the contents of my containers....be it pennies or pounds, to the credit union each week and put them away safe from reach.

Hmm, not much point in me posting here if I'll be counting my weekly change for the next 36wks (I'll stick this on my journal and leave a copy here too) . Either way, I'm aiming for £200.

    Good luck everyone x

I dipped into my jar when I needed change for car park etc so bought a sealed tin from the pound shop. To much bother getting a tin opener out every time I needed the odd 20p so hopefully I will have more than I have budgeted for. The tin is getting heavy already so hopefully will have to buy another one may have a lot more than the £100 anticipated.
