I only went to top up my wine and take my bread out of machine and when I refreshed the page OMG yous have been having a party without me!
Don't you just love this thread! I joined thinking of saving some dough in my papier mache pot, have spent hours up to my elbows in flour and water, just baked a loaf 'cos I'm too mean to throw out overly speckled bananas, there are at least 2 lots of fresh bread coming out at this moment, someone says my pigs will smell soon and, yet, STILL I feel the urge to 'Phil my Pig' and risk losing 6.41% interest (less tax cos the ISA is full) on my longterm goal off feeding said pig 10,000 pence before 1st December 2008 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
PS: O'll need to thank EVERYONE now so I know which pages I have read and which I haven'tI reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

I saw some fab, pot pigs in a local 'cheapy' shop today, whilst looking for some headphones for my Grandad.
I didn't buy one at the time, as I was still worrying about being able to meet my commitments (rent, petrol) this week, however since then I have received some money from a mate in repayment of quite an old debt.
They had small pigs for £1, and extremely large pigs for £6. I'm thinking about popping in tomorrow and picking up one of each.
I've already got a beer moneybox, which I have sealed up with tape and intend to use for saving any pound coins (or £2) which I end up with. I could then use the small pig to save 5p's and the larger one for everything else...
If I manage to get them, I'l post a piccy tomorrow0 -
