MP3 Player

I am after an MP3 player with the following specifications up to the value of £40, could any suggestion one?

MP3 player (plays WMA)
256MB
Built in radio - (not one built in the headphones - though i am not sure what difference this makes, can anyone tell?)

Thanks

Just bought one from TESCOs. It's an INOVIX, 256 Mb, no radio, but competatively priced at £35.

    Snag is I hate it!!!

I'm an MP3 virgin and the instructions were incomprehensible.

When a friend finally figured out how to swithch it on, we could barely read the dim display (with or without backlight). Tried messing with contrast etc - no help.

Perhaps I bought an unlucky one, or perhaps it's a case of "you get what you pay for".#

ANYONE ELSE TRIED THIS TESCO MODEL???

    Thanks all you techie moneysavers...
  • You can find a good one at Dixons for the price ou are asking. Although I have checked and it does not have a built in radio. have a look here: http://www.dixons.co.uk/martprd/store/dix_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1003190528.1118094637@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccdfaddeldkjgdjcflgceggdhhmdgmi.0&page=Product&sku=967867&category_oid=-23026&fm=6&sm=1&tm=undefined

I can recomend the dixons one, we bought same model from currys just this weekend for our 11 year olds birthday and its really good, even impressed hubby, i managed to get 140 wma tracks on to it yesterday and it was soo easy, no fancy prog to mess things up it just came up with removable drive, it sounded really good and daughter was over the moon with it, downside no radio but it does have voice record on it so depends what you are looking for, also when we bought it we were offered the extended warrenty for £10 then it dropped to £5 for 3 years anything goes wrong take it back even water damage and its run on aaa battery so easy to replace when needed.

    Currys

When we went looking the woman in currys advised against that one as she said no volume control:confused: there were 3 in our price range the tangent one of them and the advent and the third i think was the napa but that had to charged via pc hence we went for the advent.
