Self Assessment Questions

in Cutting tax
I have to submit a self-assessment for the tax year 2018-19 and as it's the first one I've had to submit some things are not clear to me. I'll start with an easy one, hopefully. I resigned from my employment in late March 2018, just before the end of the 2017-18 tax year, and have not worked since (essentially early retired).
One of the first questions on the self assessment form is "Were you employed ... ?". Although I resigned from my employment in March 2018, I was paid my final pay after the end of the 2017-18 tax year (late April if I remember correctly). I'm assuming this fact is irrelevant, and that I should not report any employment, but I want to be sure.
Can someone please confirm/advise? Thanks.

Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and you’ll get rid of him every weekend.

you resigned, so presumably were given a P45.
What does it state your leaving date to be?
they may have added on some un-taken holiday etc so your last day in service may have been after the date you walked out of the building0 -
