Hi everyone.
Our application went in yesturday to precise. So nervous.

We were offered a 3.6% rate at DIP. For a house at £179,950. Using HTB to make up the rest of the house total.
Our DIP now says 3.9% as we want it fixed for 5 years with brexit happening etc.
We will be borrowing a smidge over twice our income.

My credit rating is 905 on Experian. Hubby’s is 780.
We have a joint income of £81000
Credit cards £3700
Loan £14000 (car)

Hubby has a satisfied CCJ from 2016 (£1100) for a training agreement he thought his old employer wouldn’t charge him for. Nightmare!

We’ve never missed a payment on anything ever.

So nervous! So in love with the house too.

Absolutely convinced we will be declined 😱.

Is the 3 year old satisfied ccj the only adverse on your files?
If it is then I'm surprised you didn't get better than presice. Did the broker try other lenders first?
