Hi I am about to replace my Gledhill hot water cylinder which no longer works. I would like to know if it is possible or even plausible to replace it with a renewable heat incentive product?

Probably not. Domestic Hot Water (DHW) is a pain for heat pumps as it works outside their sweet spots. Biomass is an option as is solar thermal.
The down side is the time needed to identify, plan and fit your new RHI system. If your current one is dead then you'd be without hot water for an unreasonably long time.8kW (4kW WNW, 4kW SSE) 6kW inverter. 6.5kWh battery.0 -
Solar thermal is available with rhiWest central Scotland
4kw sse since 2014 and 6.6kw wsw / ene split since 2019
24kwh leaf, 75Kwh Tesla and Lux 3600 with 60Kwh storage0
