Hello
I am looking for an "Outdoor Storage Box" for the garden that
A) You can sit on it, so it can double-up as a bench, and which also:
Has 62cm of free space inside it
i.e. I need to store two of those popular "Really Useful Boxes" that are 31cm tall, on top of each other...
==> i.e. I want to fit a total of FOUR standard "Really Useful(TM)" boxes that are 71 x 44 x 31cm in size, into the box.
i.e. It needs to have internal dimensions of at least 62cm empty vertical space inside it, and be at least 142cm long.
There seem to be lots of "150 Gallon" outdoor storage boxes but most of them are only 57 or 58cm in height.
The only box that I can find that is large enough and is strong enough to sit on is
Lifetime's "Rough Cut" Outdoor Storage Box (150 gallons)
either model 60215 or 60254.
Argo had the best price that I could find (£150)
https://www.argos.co.uk/product/7646986
even beating CostCo (£159)
however what is irritating is that Argos tell me that they have stopped stocking them, without removing them from their website.
Ebay stock them but they are c. £200 each. Homebase has them but they are £220!
Any thoughts?
Cheers
J

I have an outdoor storage box that ia full of RU boxes and lock n lock boxes. I use the smaller boxes all the time and so I keep the big storage box by the house. Its a really good keter box in 2 colours. I also use it for potting plants on the lid and it is strong with a lid that lifts itself and is a seat but not a bench. It never leaks and is pleasureable to assemble. Argos and amazon have them. I still have another keter that is 10 years old, that one is full of garden things and never leaks. None of them leak, I also assembled a keter store it out, only three weeks ago and that does not leak either0
