    Your hubbie should be involved in this, if you have a partner this all becomes more easier when working as a team, and also it helps avoid arguments if one doesnt "get it".

    I think you should both read through this thread, even if just to show him that this can be done, and it is in all your interests to work as a team on this one.

    Also get the kids involved :)

    I see how that reads.....hubby mean't hold my hand!!!! He is involved on the debt free trail....the kids are proving slightly more difficult but we are working on them!!!!

  • How old are the teenagers? Can they get part time work to pay for their own school trips, or at least contribute? It is also a good way of them getting a financial education?Even if they are younger teenagers, maybe a paperround or selling items on ebay for them and they can use this as their pocket money?
