Your hubbie should be involved in this, if you have a partner this all becomes more easier when working as a team, and also it helps avoid arguments if one doesnt "get it".

I think you should both read through this thread, even if just to show him that this can be done, and it is in all your interests to work as a team on this one.

I see how that reads.....hubby mean't hold my hand!!!! He is involved on the debt free trail....the kids are proving slightly more difficult but we are working on them!!!!

How old are the teenagers? Can they get part time work to pay for their own school trips, or at least contribute? It is also a good way of them getting a financial education?Even if they are younger teenagers, maybe a paperround or selling items on ebay for them and they can use this as their pocket money?
