It is a scientific fact that your body will not absorb calories if you take it from another person's plate.

Link added to Daily thread

Following the close of the first Round, entry to the daily Rounds will open and close as follows:

    • Monday: Opens at 16.10pm Friday, closes at 16.00pm Monday

    • Tuesday: Opens at 16:10pm Monday, closes at 16:00pm Tuesday

    • Wednesday: Opens at 16:10pm Tuesday, closes at 16:00pm Wednesday

    • Thursday: Opens at 16:10pm Wednesday, closes at 16:00pm Thursday

    • Friday: Opens at 16:10pm Thursday, closes at 16:00pm Friday

The scheduled final Draw of the competition will take place on Thursday 21st November at 7:45am, unless the Top Prize has already been won before this Draw and thereby ending the competition.

You can enter a maximum of 6 times via SMS (including free entries) and a maximum of 6 times online for free for each Round of the Competition. Entrants must obtain permission from the bill payer before texting to enter the Competition.

Entries will reset after the conclusion of each Round (i.e. at 16:00pm each weekday), meaning Entrants will be required to enter again for any future Draws or Rounds of the Competition.

I'm struggling to understand this comp!
Are there three draws a day or just one after 16.00 each weekday - what is the significance of the 07.45 cut-off mentioned?
Can someone with more than one working brain cell explain it to me pls?

They will ring you after 4pm each day to choose an envelope. You win the amount in the envelope

agree seems odd, just listened and no mention of comp when normally they are plugging it, wouldn't let me enter again (thought if they had done 7.45 it would be reset)

This is how I read it:

There are three draws per round (you can enter 6 times per round/day, not draw), in order to be entered in all three, you will need to have entered by 7:45 am (the first draw), otherwise you'll only be entered for any yet to have taken place on that day e.g. anyone entering now (8:30 am) will only be in the 12:00 & 4pm draws
You have to re-enter after 4:10pm to be in the next day’s draws

The prizes also include 100,000 to 500,000 Nectar Points. It looks like the first winner got 100,000 Nectar points (£500 pounds worth), just enough to get the 6 month ban without winning any cash.

Shame. I'd hate that. I need at least £10k to get my life back on track at the moment, and it would be frustrating to receive a call, pick a £1k envelope then be banned from entering any Bauer competitions for 6 months. But at the same time, I could end up winning the maximum £100k. I'm in two minds about entering each round. What's a girl to do? :undecided
  • For all we know it could be 95 x Nectar Points prizes, 4 x £1k cash prices and 1 x £100k. I don't think they've said how many are nectar prizes -v- cash prizes but I guess it's a 1 in 100 shot at £100k... or 1 in 99 shot now...
  • There are three draws and three winners each day. To be entered for all three you need to enter before 07:45, for just the later two before noon and for just the last one before 4pm. If you do your sox entries before 07:45 you’re on all three draws. Entries do not roll over to the next day.
