MSE has highlighted the benefits of GAP app here:

But... there is even more benefits than is listed here... including 50% off on your birthday (I think it was 30-day expiry date from your birthday).
You can only use it once, but it can be stacked against in-store offers such as 4 for 3 on babywear and additional 5% off for app users.
Our bill was @£270 and @£114 after all discounts and offers applied.
There is also a loyalty card type offer on jeans - buy 5 get 6th free.
