Personalised Photo Calendar

Anyone had experience of having one of these created - can you create yourself ? My parents live in Ireland and I think this would make a nice Christmas gift showing pictures of their grandchildren

They had ones you could put your own photo in, in Lidl last year for £1.99 - might be worth checking there.

They had sold out by the time I got there >:( so I made my own :).

12 sheets of coloured card (the lidl ones used thick black sugar paper which looked very affective), either buy or print off a calendar, one for each month (I used the one on ms outlook) either directly onto the card or, I used OHP paper, then attatch to to the card in the same way as the photo. - If you use MS outlook and print your own you could add important thing to remember on i.e bank holidays, Birthdays etc.

Make diagonal cuts in the card in each corner where the photo is to fit (i.e put the photo where you want it - draw round it in pencil make a diagonal cut across each corner, rub out the line) then choose a photo for each month and fit them in the cuts and secure on the back with sellotape. Hole punch the top of the card and join with ribbon.

Not as professional looking as the companies mentioned above but a lot cheaper and very personal ;D

We used photobox last Christmas & were delighted with the quality which was even better than we anticipated. I noticed a few weeks ago Asda are also doing them at their photo processing desk, not sure of price though.

  • Another to consider.
Haven't used them yet myself so unable to say how good they are - but they look quite decent.

I got one last year in woolworths. It was £2.49 and you just put the photos in.

If you have windows XP there is a calander wizard in word that will help you make your own I think

    :):)

  • I got some done in Asda last year. They were the price of the print with the calendar round the side of the photo. You can design it yourself on the machine.

I had some done for christmas presents two years ago with https://www.gltc.co.uk and they were absolutely fantastic.

I had some done with photobox last year, but they were a little smaller, and there wasn't really much room to write things on in the boxes underneath each day. The gltc ones had more space, but both were great quality.
