Hi, I have been inspired by all your lovely hampers/baskets so I attempting to make my own. I just need a little bit of help with a couple. Here is my list.
OH - movie one (3 DVD's, crisps, drinks, popcorn, book of 1001 films to see before you die and peanuts.) - I think one this is pretty mcuh complete
Mum - Maldives holiday - suncream, lipbalm, shampoo and conditioner for use after swimming, mints for getting rid of salt taste after diving/snorkling, book on fish in the Maldives - still trying to get some nice beach towels and some flip flops - any other ideas?
Dad - keep your brain going/retirement one! - brain training game from Amazon, puzzle books, book of Britain from Lonely Planet - looking a bit empty any other ideas?
Niece and her OH - Parents to be one - Cleaning wipes, stretch mark cream, baby tip book - any other ideas perhaps more for them rather than the baby.
Auntie - grandmother to be book - book on how to be a good grandmother, scrapbook for all the photo's - any other ideas?
Friends of the family - Murder mystery one - Champagne murder game, bottle of champagne - I need ideas to go with the game, the theme is 60's gangsters style, I was thinking of adding some costume stuff but don't want it to get too expensive - characters includes a photographer, ex actress, political rights campaigner, sex starlet, actor, model, enterprenteur, pop star and wine critic - any ideas?
Thanks for reading.

Only had a few thoughts as I read your thread, but here they are for what they're worth.....
Keep your brain going - some Omega fish oil capsules or similar? Nice mug for hot drink while doing all the puzzles, novelty pen (maybe age related?)
Parents to be - small rattle or soft toy, baby memory book, travel size toiletries for hospital bag, parenting type magazine, vouchers for help e.g. go round and cook them a meal, do some ironing, hold the baby while new mum takes a shower etc (I'd have loved these!)
Granny to be - you can get small photo albums called 'Granny's boasting book' for transport in proud granny's handbag, ready to be whipped out and shown to anyone willing
, 'gran' mug
Will continue to think, and I hope one of the hamper experts will be along soon as I'm sure they'll come up with loads of good ideas......0 -
