I am currently in a DMP arranged through Stepchange. I have had a small PPI payment and would like to pay off my smaller outstanding debts. Stepchange will want me to pay some to all of my debts pro rata. Is it worth cancelling my DMP and managing my debts myself in order to clear some completely? It would be fantastic to see some of them gone.

I found it really easy to self-manage. And it feels great to be in control of things too...

I was in a DMP and picking my debts off, much to the annoyance of the company doing my DMP. In the end I cancelled the DMP and self-managed, still picking debts off
