ICICI - HISAVE Doc's required

I applied for the ICICI Online account.

They are now requesting certificated copies of passport, utilities bills etc.

Is this normal?

Thanks

  • yes, if they need to have more proof of your identity. I applied for several credit cards at the same time as moving house and because I was not on the electoral roll at that address every application had to be backed up with exactly these documents. It was no problem, but do not be tempted to send out originals such as a passport, it's not worth the risk of losing them.
  • Appreciate the needs for the documents. Just never been asked for them before from other providers and I have recenly opened up new credit cards ok.
  • I've just noticed a thread a few down from this one, entitled 'I don't see I to I with ICICI'. It has a few comments that might be of interest to you.
