Quitting Smoking for stoptober

I really want to give up smoking, i've gone cold turkey so far but i'm really struggling. Friends of mine have e-cigarettes but i'm clueless. Can anyone advise me? And with the recent news i really want to ensure i'm getting from a reputable seller - so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
