Credit Score Going Down - Experian

Hiya,
I split from my boyfriend in June and we had to give up our rented house. I moved to live with my grandparents.
Anyway, it meant I went into my overdraft something I haven't managed to escape (plans for doing that after Xmas).
I was really silly with my money as a student, but grew up and got it sorted. I just checked my credit score with Experian, in June (prior to the break up) it was 856, now it is 716! Eeeek....I've not missed any payments on my existing card, or on my phone. Could the overdraft and the house move explain the drop?
I applied for a Post Office credit card, (to do a balance transfer as the rate is going up on my existing card) and got a note to say they would contact me with a decision by post.
I am now really worried, had a hard second half of the year and the last thing I needed was the credit rating I had spent 2 years rebuilding to go wrong as well.

AFAIK, that's pretty standard for Post Office, they did that to my mum and she got a £1.5k limit so I wouldn't worry too much.
Make sure you're on the electrol roll at your new address, that has a massive impact! No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Yeah, I went on the electoral roll as soon as I moved. I checked with the council and it was added at the next update which was in September.0

So, do you think my credit rating will come back up again?0

You need to get your credit report, not just the score. Apply to all 3 agencies. Check all the information is correct and contact the credit agencies if any information is wrong. Close any accounts you no longer use, cutting up your card does not close your account! Did you have a joint account? If so, you need to make sure any financial links are removed, as what your ex is doing now may be affecting your credit score too.0
