Morrisons removing plastic bags from all online deliveries
Options
Email just received saying they've joined the no plastic bags party as well:
We're making a change to our online shopping service as part of our aim to reduce the amount of plastic we use.
From 28th October, we'll be removing plastic bags from our online deliveries, meaning your groceries will be delivered 'bagless'. The 40p charge for carrier bags will also be removed.
However, to keep certain products safe and maintain product quality, some items in your delivery such as raw meat, fish and bleach will still be bagged.
After 28th October our friendly delivery drivers will be happy to carry your shopping into your kitchen for you, or alternatively, make sure you have your reusable bags ready at the door so your groceries can be easily transferred.
See you soon,
Your Morrisons.com Team

No receipts with the delivery & now no carriers bags !!
All in the name of cost cutting.
I wonder if they will take the shoes off the drivers next.......0 -

Oh goody, that will help offset the extra pointless use of plastic on the custard doughnuts I just bought -- usually "baked in store, made by us" in a paper bag, with paper label (recyclable, compostable), but now in a cardboard tray and clear-plastic bagged0
