A couple of questions now I'm discharged.

So, I'm finally discharged with no IPA. I've learned a lot about budgeting over the last year.
I've got a couple of questions:
I've got a couple of questions:
- I've been accepted for a Vanquis card (to rebuild credit), is there anything else I should be doing to get my life back on track?
- I'll be looking to rent in the next 6months-year. Will I have trouble renting if I have savings and an income that supports the rental fee I'm looking at?

I would recommend you check all of the data on all of the credit reference agencies has been updated accordingly. I had to chase a few companies to get mine recorded correctly with balances still showing and other bits of data wrong.
Use your card - pay it off - rinse and repeat - then try for another card (using the eligibility checkers) with someone like capital one or aqua.
I started with 0 cards - now have 5:
First card - Vanquis - £300 limit - now £2000
Second card - Aqua - £300 limit - now £1700
Third card - Cap one - £300 limit- now £550
Fourth card - Cap one Luma - £300 limit - now £450
Fifth card - Barclaycard Forward - £1200 limit
Once I get towards finding myself a decent APR card with a mainstream bank - I'll close off the two Capital one cards, as I've been using them and paying in full - but the limits haven't moved much.0 -
Thanks
How soon after my discharge should I write to the CRA's to see my reports?0 -

Well you can get them online - have you accessed them before? Usually the free ones update once a month - but I wouldn't wait - I'd get them now and see what they all show - and then begin to challenge if anything doesn't seem right.0 -
On the free one it shows my credit cards/closed bank accounts either as "default" or "settled".
Is that right or should they disappear completely?0 -
They'll stay for 6 years, but they should all be in the closed accounts sections, be marked as satisfied or partially satisfied and have a default date no later than when you went bankrupt
Once you've done that, the main healer is time0
