To get to Ebbsfleet

I have just been on the 2 for 1 Eurostar site and got 3 tickets for 87 pounds for 3 adults return from Ebbsfleet, how would i get to Ebbsfleet from Ayrshire.

It’s less than 3 miles from Junction 2 of the M25, and close to the M2, M20 and A2. And there are 2,500 car park spaces within 5 minutes’ walk of the station waiting for you when you get there.

If you’re using public transport, there are direct and regular connections to Gravesend, Dartford and Greenhithe train stations.

if there's 3 adults I would imagine cheapest way is to drive and split the fuel bill.

I got a tickets for £59 return ticket to Brussels (£29 each way), excellent value for this time of year. I think there are only a few left,

The trains go from London too, but Ebbsfleet has got easy parking, it is just east of the M25.

Just edited this, having seen that the previous poster has pulled up a thred over a year old. I haven't been able to find any current 2 for 1s with Eurostar yet, but I'm sure they'll come up again soon!

If you choose public transport to get to Ebbsfleet and have a valid Eurostar ticket, you get FREE train travel from South East train stations, which means you can travel from a London station to either DARTFORD, SWANSCOMBE or GREENHITHE stations, then you transfer to the FREE FASTRACK B bus to continue the short journey to Ebbsfleet. Greenhithe is the nearest train station but I have no idea if all the trains stop there as I'm only familiar with the connections from Gravesend on the opposite side of Ebbsfleet. So in summary, you only need a train or bus ticket to London ands will get a free train/bus ride to Ebbsfleet from there. Of course it takes much longer than just getting on at London St Pancras, but if time is no barrier, it's well worth it for the cheap Ebbsfleet tickets.

PS you can always get £59 return tickets from London/Ebbsfleet to Pars/Brussels, it's not a limited offer. It looks like the price is rising to £62 return some time in 2009. However, the 2 for 1 tickets are even cheaper and they seem to be released every year January to March time.

Finally, if you are going to arrive by car, the daily parking rate is £11.50, or you could find somewhere safe nearby to park -- suggestions from locals here perhaps???? -- then use the free Fastrack bus to get to Ebbsfleet. If you have a few hours to spare, you could also visit nearby Bluewater for a bit of shopping and the free Fastrack bus will even take you there too.
