Loan Quote

Hi

I have just applied and received a quote from 'lending works' for a loan (only small £2000), I am happy with the apr i have been offered. The offer says it is valid until the end of this month.

It gives me the option to then complete my loan (i just wanted some time before doing so), I am asking at this point will the offer they have given me be the same after i complete the application?

It is only asking me to complete details on my marriage status, employers name and put in my bank account number. Could I still be rejected? Or would that only happen if I am wanted across europe for fraud haha (I am not by the way!)

a few sites had me at 100% eligibility for the loan - and I know they aren't rock solid, just wondering is that loan a given if i accept? or could i be rejected/declined?

thanks

As far as I am aware, one can only consider the application successful after having received the funds in ones bank account. Up until that point, I believe the application could technically, still be declined...

  • hi thanks for the reply

I know what you mean, I guess my question is, after applying, and receiving the quote should i expect the application to go through the last stage without an issue, i mean my circumstances are not going to change in the next few weeks (well or ever really) to affect anything i imagine.

or is the regular for this stage to be met with loans and then be rejected at the final sing off stage?

Statistically, the mostly likely outcome if that it will just go through. But it's all down to individual assessments.

Good luck in the sing off stages. :)
  • haha sing off, yeah my voice is worse than my spelling!

what do you mean regarding individual assessments?
i thought the application process...adding name, address, wage etc would have determined that?

It does - but there can always be last minute checks on any applications.
  • ah right ok, well I can only assume that considering I have another loan from 2 years ago with my bank, have never missed any payments or been overdrawn etc, plus having being accepted by this compan ....I should be ok?

maybe I am just overthinking it and neurotic!
