Applying for a credit card after bankruptcy

I am a year discharged and have just been accepted for a Capital One Card with a suprising 1.5K limit and an APR of under 30% - not bad for sub-prime.
This was the first time I have made an application post bankruptcy.
I thought the limit would be a "monkey" if I was lucky !!0 -
Ideally the interest rate wouldn't matter, as you wouldn't carry a balance. I'd be careful using the card so as not to fall back into bad habits (you might not have had any, looking back I sure did)
For me aqua vanquish and capital one were easy enough, a mainstream card (say barclaycard) only moved from 0% chance to 90% (in one go) when IVA fell off credit report0 -
Got vanquis on the day of discharge (i could not wait, yeah!), 1k limit, 29.9% apr. Two months later out of curiosity tried, and got, capital one with 1250 limit and same 29.9% apr.
Perhaps i was accepted due to relatively high income.0
