Are asthma check ups avoidable?

I do care about my health but the problem is that each asthma check up is generic, the nurses pretty much ask me the same questions and i blow in to a peak flow meter (which i own and use every week).

I feel as though i can manage the asthma myself and if it does get worse then i can make an appointment. I can also buy my inhalers online for same price as a prescription.

Does anyone else go for yearly check ups and is it actually required? can the GP remove me if i don't attend?

Tell your gp what you've said on here. Asthma can be serious if you deteriorate quickly but if youre confident monitoring yourself from home then theres no reason why you need to attend the clinic of you dont want to.

I doubt they can kick someone off their list because they don't attend an asthma clinic, tbh.
