I would be a bit cautious here. At one time Aldi would exchange up to a year from purchase, but that has now been cut to 1 month, which isn't very long. After that, they are insisting that the apparatus be returned to the manufacturer/distributor for repair. People can quote the sale of goods act till they are blue in the face, but that is company policy, and as far as I know, it has not so far been challenged. I now have a working car stereo/cd player, but at one point I would have much preferred to have had the money back and gone to Halfrauds or similar. I was three days over the month since purchase. From now on, until this policy is changed, I'll buy electrical equipment somewhere else. To be honest, I think that Aldi made some mistakes with the products offerred and paid the price, with people taking advantage of their generous terms, but there you are, the pendulum has swung the other way. Shame...

You can get them form E buyer or misco for less. I got a 32" with freeview built in and wall brakcets for £320 inc del.
