Glasses - re-glazing service

Hi All,
Do you have any extended experience in using re-glazing service?

I have looked into a number of online providers like
DirectSight.co.uk and Reglaze4U but it's hard to make a decision.

Does it really matter price-wise between them, retailers and smaller retailers?
I think it does if I would like to use one of these brick and mortar ones like Specsavers, but smaller retailers potentially could deliver it cheaper.

I am also a bit confused about the difference between materials: CR-39, polycarbonate,Trivex and other options like Blue-V (blue light protection).

Because I have +5 on one eye I reckon CR-39 is the only option to get lens thin enough. Trivex and polycarobate ones are durable but not sure about thickness/index (they don't specify that).

Please advise if you have some experience.
Thank you
Best regards
