my first online order with wilkinsons and they scared the life out of me!

I had a phone call 10pm from some random woman asking if my hubby was in... i probed to find out who she was and she said she lived on the same road and had received an email from wilkinsons confirming her order.... she hadnt ordered anything... so she signed in with her username and password and all mine and my hubbys details were there for her to see!!! address, numbers, order, some bank details, she could have placed a huge order and changed delivery to somewhere else and we would have been none the wiser!

Called wilkinsons the next morning and after days of them fannying about they told us a newbie had over-rided the random womans addess when she entered the post code or something or rather!

I really want to love wilkinsons again but i just do not have faith in them!

Apparently our details are meant to be safe!!!!!

Thanks for the info though on the discounts... I may go and take a gander to see what I am missing lol - hubby is a copper and will not let me buy from them again now because of this!

Might need to trade him in for another ;0

I'm on my 5th order from Wilkinson website and I've had no problems so far. If you pay £4.95 you can choose to have your shopping delivered in a two hour slot when you want it - I had some paint and stuff delivered early saturday morning in the 7-9 slot which works great for me ( only thing is I had to decorate all weekend by orders of the missus!) - I think this is good idea
cause I can't stand having to go all the way to the sorting office to get my parcel back! - oh and the delivery is free at the mo too! Not sure when it finishes though.

I am having difficulty checking out, is it always this slow, ie frozen. I have been trying for a couple of days now.

I found the website quick enough to get round - but a bit slow when you go to the payment page. Never found that it froze on me though.
If the site is as busy as my local store, it's probably that everybody is trying to go through the checkout at the same time!
